White Spruce (Picea glauca)

Landscape Use:
Use in areas where you have lots of room, this tree can dominate a small site.
Best grown in beds with some understory plants.
Mix in with other plants to make a more complex and interesting planting.
In nature, they germinate and grow in the shade to become the climax community; imitate those conditions when planting.

Special Conditions: All spruce will perform best if grass is not allowed to grow next to base.
Keep spruce dry, they do not like wet feet.
Always look up to make sure you are not planting under a power or phone line.
